With 8,000 attendees from over 50 countries and 160 breakout sessions, there was an abundance of insight, best practices and inside tips for everyone involved. For those who couldn’t make the event and for those just couldn’t fit everything in, we’ve assembled all the coverage from the NetSuite blog in one location.
With two Day One keynotes, and five industry-specific keynotes on Day Two, there was plenty for everyone.
If there was any doubt about the place of cloud computing in the current landscape of business software applications, NetSuite CEO Zach Nelson made his position clear in his keynote at this year’s SuiteWorld 16 conference. “Cloud is the last computing architecture (and also the last business architecture) and it may not be surpassed until, say, the turn of the next millennium.”

NetSuite offered some specifics on its developments for businesses in the software industry on the second day of this year’s SuiteWorld 16 conference and exhibition. Beyond the keynotes and breakout sessions, there was ample opportunity for fun and to donate time and effort to nonprofits.
At NetSuite, we understand that all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy, which is why we made sure to dot SuiteWorld with plenty of things to do during those breaks between sessions. So what can you do when you need a break in all the content and networking?
We’re thrilled to announce the winners of our third NetSuite.org Hackathon 4Good! During the pre-conference day at SuiteWorld, the teams spent nearly 12 straight hours brainstorming, white boarding, and coding. At the end of the night, after live presentations and demos, Team ‘GoodFellows’ and Team ‘The Original Timesheets’ were crowned the winners for their creative prototypes of solutions to meet the challenges posed by nonprofit partners Ashoka and Juma Ventures.

For those of us who don’t have to think twice about whether we’ll have enough food to eat, it’s hard to imagine that an estimated one in nine people on the planet go to bed hungry each night. A day before the crowds were to descend on the San Jose McEnery Convention Center for the start of SuiteWorld 16, customers were already the talk of the place.
